Tips
Hurdle Jumping
I created a drawer called Witty Inventions. It contains the sparks of creativity that have come as a result of asking God what do I have that I can share with someone else that would be of value. The drawer is full of scribbled notes, papers, trinkets and items that triggered ideas that could produce.
Over the years I have dabbled into different areas of my creativity; often with trepidation because I did not have a business background. I attended some workshops. I activated some of the business principles. Some I did not. I have lots of stories to tell to hopefully influence you in the right direction.I am putting backbone and shape to these ideas. We are to create as long as we have breath. I would like to share with you some of the things I have done, places I have gone to and thoughts I have pondered. It doesn't do any good to have had God bless me in so many areas and take it through the grave and to the other side without telling someone. So I am jumping out of the boat and have entered the sea called Facebook. I have a couple of millennials who are my floatie wings to keep my above water.
Aha Moments
In 1994, I was standing in my kitchen with my friend Sheila. She and her family were staying with me before heading to Germany where they were going to be stationed. In the middle of the conversation, we both paused and looked at each other. Suddenly each of us stepped back away from each other. We heard a loud rumble and it felt like a huge boulder rolled between the both of us. It shook the room.
Shortly afterwards I was impressed to buy two dehydrators and started talking about growing my own food, storing food, going to natural food stores and making stuff from scratch. I felt like there was going to be a famine. Sheila said I started buying all kinds of gadgets. I went to the Bible and read the story of Joseph. I read about Joseph and his contribution to his family and the surrounding neighborhoods during the time of famine. The scripture that held my attention was Genesis 49:22: “ Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall.”
